Men and woman are built differently. (yup, you probably already knew that). This difference makes it harder for us to find woman's clothes that fit well. It also doesn't help that woman's clothing sizes use a whole different size scale than men's clothing. What is cross dresser to do?
Fortunately, as a reader of Cross Dresser Heaven you're covered. There are a few important things to know about woman's sizes. Firstly, the size is expressed with a (usually even) number, starting from 0. If your waist is around 36" size 16 or 18 will probably fit you best. If you fit into a size 6 I'm envious, but will try not hold your good fortune against you.
Next, there are two "flavors" of women's sizes. Misses and Women's. You will usually see Women's sizes with a W after the number (like 16W), or denoted by 1X, 2X or so on. Women's sizes are normally larger at the waist and hips, think "fuller figure". This is something to experiment with, I've found the Misses skirts and pants fit me best, but it depends on the clothing line whether a misses or women's blouse fits best.
Within Misses and Women's you can choose either a Tall or Petite. Tall is typically for women above 5'8" while petite is for women shorter than 5'4". Though the exact height also depends on the clothing line.
The final thing to consider is the difference between men and women's body proportions. A women's waist is higher, and their torso's are longer than men's. You can use this to your advantage, by wearing a pair of pants below your waist that were meant to be worn on the waist. This is helpful if you're taller, and aren't able to find a taller cut.

Is this size chart in UK or US sizes? I know that UK sizes are US+4.
Offhand I'd say US, unless UK people are still measuring themselves in inches. I would expect them to be in centimeters.
However, having said that, as one US example, I have a 40 (100cm) waist, am about 187cm tall, am a little heavy at 111kg, and I have found basically by trial-and-error that a size 14 dress fits fairly well. This chart seems to say I should be in perhaps an 18W, which would tend to support your US+4 theory. Also, most garments which come only in non-numeric sizes, I tend to fit XL fairly well (although going by the dimensions on the package, Just My Size pantyhose suggests 3x, which I've tried and fits OK, but I think I'm closer to 2x for that product).

I have to admit even though I am a male by birth I have no true understanding of male size in comparison to female sizes witch may seem odd to some but when I go window shopping I’m drawn to the female section I oddly find myself more attracted to female cloths than male cloths witch to be honest is lacking in desirability as far as I’m concerned.

Lingerie for some photos and I am so excited because I am posing in a bra and panties hanging upside down with one leg in passé and you can't see my male stuff and it looks so nice just to have that without your thing. I used minimal tape and gaff rolled up and all that sounds gross but I can say that I almost like it that way now. You can do it if you want. Fitting panties and stuff surenis easier than fitting sleeved dresses and blouses.

Depends on your shoulders and chest not your waist. If you have wide shoulders or a big chest 38 or 40 it's hard. I'm like 29 waist and a men's 38 jacket. It's hard.

I'm zena lucky to say half or most my female clothing has been given to me what doesnt fit I give to someone else or who can wear em some are in med or small I've only come across large size)some were blouse's shirts skirt's an dresses that seem to fit me just right although problem I run into is when go department of women's clothes they don't sell to many for short gal's like me

Yes u can find dressed in larger sizes but u have to take your time and fing them in larger sizes

Rather wear intentionally loose stuff that feels good than a dress that is too loose cause I was trying to fit my arms. so I wear sleeveless stuff. I can't pass by my friend tells me that my arms look good anyway because they look good. If I like how something feels I'm gonna wear it. Rachel ray, leggings, free people flowy layers, I even found some really nice stuff in Macy's. Rather than try to pas just wear stuff that looks nice on your body. I even found a couture cocktail dress in a consignment show that looks so pretty and I love it. Forget passing as a woman and just be yourself and try tk loook beautiful.
