Hi all you lovely ladies out there in CD land.  I just thought I would put a little ditty on here about keeping everything clean and smelling sweet. We don’t want smelly knickers or underwear, do we?

I Just love the sweet smell of clean fresh clothes, the feel of smooth satin against my skin, and the way it all moves when walking and sitting. If you are like me, you can only dress whenever possible, be it for an hour here and there or if you are lucky enough, having the time to dress whenever and however you want (what dreams are made of!) Although I plucked up the courage to tell my long-standing wife that I enjoy dressing as a woman regularly and wanted it to continue with her knowledge, it didn’t go as well as I’d hoped.

Even though she loves drag queens and is besotted by men dressed as women, she doesn’t want to be married to one!! It took months for it to settle down, as it was best left alone for a while; at least she knows and in the back of her mind it may turn around one day and she’ll want to meet Cindi, wow you think you know someone!!!.

Anyway, when I do get the chance to dress up, it gets to the point where I don’t want to put her away but must. It sometimes gets a bit sweaty under the wig and under my bra. So, when possible, I have a wash day! Tell you what, I enjoy every moment. I sort out all my favourites and stick them in the washing machine and set it running with some fabric softener. After the wash-n-spin, it’s into the tumble dryer, and once that’s done it’s time to iron! I don’t know why women moan about ironing.

Personally, I love the smell of clean wash as you iron it, especially satin. When you iron a satin slip or knickers the smell is wonderful, and to see that lovely, smooth material is very satisfying. The whole experience is always made better by making an occasion out of it. I get dressed in a nice skirt and top, nice matching underwear, (not a pinny, I don’t want to look stupid.) It all looks great and everything is clean and lovely, ironed, folded, and ready to wear. I can’t wait to wear it all again!

How do you other girls do it? What would be even better is to see all my clothes blowing freely on the washing line. We’ve got to stay lovely, and part of dressing up is to look your best. Having it clean, fresh, and feeling lovely when you put it on, and then adding some makeup and a pair of heels, and “POW” there she is. Here is Cindi Coral.

Even if it is only for my own self-esteem, I think there are many of us out there who indulge in some type of house chores. So come on girls, tell us about your wash day, how, when you do it, how it makes you feel. I just think the smell and sight of nice clean woman’s clothing is lovely.

I would love to read your thoughts!

XOXOXO

Oh yes, it is wonderful to have lovely clean fresh things to wear. It does one feel much more feminine to have fresh smelling laundry. I have a terrible confession to make, my wife does my laundry for me! I suppose I was spoiled by my Mother. However I like what you said about when the time to be your femme self comes to an end, I feel so much the same. I feel wonderful and at peace but so sad to finally take my bra off. Though the feeling of happiness does stay with me for some time afterwards.… Read more »

    Cindi…

I adore the smell of clean clothes. I use alot of fabric softener which leaves my clothes/bedding/towels smelling fresh for weeks….

I don’t iron… however, if you remove items from dryer immediately after dryer stops,.there is no creasing/wrinkling…

Yes lovely fresh smelling clean undies is a must. Not easy to fully achieve when crossdressing is completely in the closet. Rachel’s clothes can only get washed in home alone time which has been non existent through Covid lock down. Am currently enjoying a few days home alone time and the first thing to be done was to put all of Rachel’s undies in the washer and then for them to go out on the washing line which was a bit of a risk if neighbours were to pay close attention to what’s on the line as Rachel’s undies are… Read more »

The clean lingerie thing never used to bother me, mostly cos “in the old days" I could mostly only fully dress whilst travelling on business. So I guess my “frillies" had plenty of time to “freshen up". These days, I’m like everyone else who has posted here, clean lingerie is a must. My beloved and I work on “DADT" with my crossdressing, so the only time I can hand wash my frillies is when she is out of the house. Pre Covid, I would do this then take all my “week’s washing" to my secure storage unit to dry on… Read more »

Washing laundry is a chore! i practically live out of the hamper minus the clothes I put away out of respect for my wife’s boundaries. Clean clothes are nice feeling. Who irons anymore? Dress shirts sure. I like the tip of hanging it immediately out of the dryer. ill try that.

Hi Cindi, ah yes, clean and beautifully scented panties – isn’t that just lovely! As I am generally the housewife in our house when it comes to laundry, my wife is more than happy for me to take charge of sorting into lights and coloreds/darks. So my panties go into the washing machine with other items and then, as it’s so pleasantly warm right now, onto our clothes line in the garden to dry. A couple of months ago my gorgeous wife of 37 years told me she was very happy for me to wear lingerie, so I feel empowered… Read more »

When I came out to my wife a few months ago, it wasn’t well received. Actually it was like I had told her that I was gay and only was interested in men! She doesn’t want to see me in ANY feminine attire at all, and I have to do everything on the QT. Since working from home due to the pandemic, I don’t get to dress up. The company I work for is very accepting of me being a cross dresser, and my coworkers are very accepting of new dressing feminine. Many of my coworkers say that I’m happier… Read more »

I Love Wash-day” I read the article, I know & understand, after washing out our femme clothing it feels, smell ( use Woolite) unbelievable feeling. I use laundry bags for my panties, camisoles, & soiled pantyhose to protect my feminine items while washing. & in the dryer. I hate ruining my lingerie. & is costly to replace some or a lot of items that are damaged in the washing & drying process. Just wondering if many of you gals do the same? Bra’s have done some: same process.like to read “feedback” & opinions. Robin Jennifer
