Facial feminization, but only if it made me look like a young Diana Rigg… 🙂

I understand completely! It comes and goes with me now, and I like it that way. Sometimes I find I’m happy enough in drab, another time I need a new nightie! Having this duality makes life a little more fun. I’ve not been dressing as much so far this year, for various reasons, but the fog is definitely getting thicker again… 🙂

Good lord, it’s hard enough to meet CDs as it is without having to put up with that nonsense. I hope you’ve found better luck elsewhere. Their loss.

It seems to me you’ve got a pretty good (and proper) relationship. Maybe you got that awful reaction because they’re jealous. Either that, or they’re a bunch of crossdressing bigots, which would be some kind of irony. x

My credit card is out every time I peruse a quality underwear site. Heck, the first icon on my screen is for What Katie Did… And I’ll never have enough hosiery.

Hi Helen,
I’m from the middling city of Leicester; which, for our international friends, is mostly famous for finding a dead king under a car park. And Englebert Humperdinck.

There are certainly a few times in my youth that I did just that, and felt like a louse right afterwards. I think it can also feed into the feelings of guilt about being a crossdresser, that what you want to do is somehow inherently wrong. Even if it’s not possible to be totally open about it to others, buying your own clothes is a good way of…[Read more]

Amy Catrelle replied to the topic Do you still go through binge and purge cycles? in the forum Crossdresser Heaven Polls 1 years ago
Although I wish I’d started dressing years ago, I think I’d have gone through a few binge and purge cycles by now if I had. The urge to dress has always been in the back of my mind but my male ego always won out until last year, so in some ways I’ve been purging my femme desires for a long time. Whether or not I’ll actually end up purging clothes…[Read more]

In the evenings and at night I have more than enough time to be fully dressed, although I rarely try make-up. In the day (at home) I’ll underdress in full retro which suits me fine, sometimes with a skirt and unisex top in case a quick change is called for.

I’m totally with you on that, Paula. Even with the freedom of social acceptance I would still wear male attire for practical reasons, men’s jeans have better pockets for instance. It also seems a bit pointless for a crossdresser to dress like a tomboy as it sort of defeats the object. x
Amy Catrelle replied to the topic Stockings, Pantyhose, Bare Legs or Other in the forum Crossdresser Heaven Polls 1 years ago
I started out wearing tights and pantyhose as my first suspender/garter belt was a cheap one from Amazon which wouldn’t stop slipping over my narrow tush, thus defeating the object! Since then I’ve found far better retro belts that do the job and I now love to dress in stockings, bra, and knickers – especially under a long lounging robe! It’s the…[Read more]

I have no problem at all with wearing male attire outside of my home and at work, as I’m a private dresser and have plenty of opportunities to wear what I like indoors. The masculine part of my wardrobe also works out a lot cheaper too. Drab me is all t-shirts, jeans, and boots, while Amy wants whatever new dress or lingerie set she sees online!…[Read more]

Earlier tonight I was pondering my favourite chick flicks (thanks Kerri!) and it got me wondering why I picked Legally Blonde above some of the better ones. It’s great fun of course, but it’s also incredibly girly. I think of it as a very feminine film, and part of me likes that (go figure).
Now, I love all sorts of films and drab me is esp…[Read more]

I regret to say the English countryside is full of thieving gits as well. It’s also muddy, so high heels are out. x
Amy Catrelle replied to the topic Chick Flicks in the forum Crossdresser Heaven Polls 1 years ago
As someone who is a bit of a film buff, I shouldn’t like chick flicks; after all, they’re hardly the pinnacle of cinematic art. And most of them follow the same tired old formula which makes them, to me, a kind of comfort food and a guilty pleasure.
From that list I chose Legally Blonde, a movie I’ve watched numerous times, even though Easy A…[Read more]

One of those repugnant reprobates was recently jailed here in the UK. He was following Amazon drivers for the chance of some doorstep thievery, the rotten barstool.
Personally, I always try to time deliveries when I know I will be home. Not so much to avoid theft, but to avoid my neighbours taking them in on my behalf. Even with plain packaging…[Read more]
